黃達禮
MArch(HKU) BA(ArchStud)(Hons)(Newc)
HKIA/ARB Registered Architect

Tat Lai believes that architecture has the power to inspire its users through rethinking and challenging traditional notions of design. In his quest for originality and innovation, he also strives to create architecture that can have a positive impact to the mind, body and spirit of its users. He also takes great enjoyment in developing the materiality and details of each project, and the process of fine tuning of proportions to ensure that each space is aesthetically designed.

He has over 10 years of experience as both design and project architect of award-winning architectural projects in the commercial, residential and hospitality sectors in Hong Kong. Before co-founding ARTA, he was an Associate at Aedas where he worked on a number of groundbreaking projects, such as the realisation of the hoarding of Takshing House which has revolutionized the way developers and architects are constructing hoarding. He is a highly skilled problem solver and his extremely positive mindset allows him to always believe that there is an opportunity in every constraint, a method to overcome any obstacles, which has led to the realisation of many unorthodox and challenging projects.

In his spare time, he likes to play football and spend time with his dog Beannie.
