Why
2024 Christmas, we created “The Kadoorie Hill Christmas Town” that has embodied the spirit of heritage and sustainability.
The Kadoorie Hill was home built as a garden city, with the vision of low-density living with extensive greenery dates back to 1931. It remains an “urban oasis” today, a peaceful enclave nestled in the heart of bustling Kowloon. Inspired by the vision of the garden city in the Kadoorie Hill, we present this year’s creative and meaningful Christmas display by showing a quasi-Kadoorie Hill Christmas Town by using recycled materials to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to preserve the Kadoorie Hill and its natural heritage.
The recycled glasses used in the Christmas display were sourced from the recycling bins on each floor of St. George’s Building, showcasing the collaborative efforts of all the building’s tenants.
