Why
In line with the spirit of Lunar New Year, the “Bamboo Wish” aims to create a physical and metaphorical festive space for families and friends to gather and celebrate. The “Bamboo Wish” is inspired by local bamboo craft and CNY elements of good luck and happiness. The main structure is formed by cascaded and layered bamboos of over 1,888 metres total length and a centred hollow arch to create four different immersive experiences within one art installation.

Four unique façade designs of the art installation were inspired by four festive plants, each with different meaning: 1. Lucky Bamboo for Affluences, 2. Kumquat for Wealth, 3. Peach Blossom for Popularity and 4. Red Roses for Love. “Bamboo Wish” embodies our wish to you for a year of abundance in the Year of Rabbit!
