Why
Home to more than 100 species of butterflies, Lantau Island accounts for 40% of Hong Kong’s total butterfly population. To celebrate this unique ecosystem, Citygate Outlets works with three award-winning green architects, namely Arnold Wong, Keith Chan and Stephen Ip, for the first time to create the iridescent ‘Shadows of Butterflies’ installation. The 600 vitreous butterflies, created from upcycled glass, present a world-class visual feast at Citygate Outlets from 1 November on.
